1. What is Get On The Shelf?
We ran an online contest. We invited businesses and individuals to submit products that are not sold by Walmart, and let the public vote for their favorites. There were three winners, getting a shot at selling on Walmart.com and enjoying valuable free marketing support. The grand prize winning product could be carried by Walmart's physical stores too. All contestants got some free visibility, and who knows where that could lead!

The entry period closed February 22 and the first round of voting was March 7 to April 3. The top 10 moved on to the second round, which ran April 11 to April 24.
